The Story Of Joscelyn Roberson

Joscelyn Roberson’s gymnastics career has been incredible to watch, and she’s already achieved so much at such a young age.

Her journey started back in 2009 when she was just three years old. Her mom wanted her to get involved in a sport, so she enrolled her at Joni’s Gymnastics in Texarkana, Texas. Right from the very beginning, it was obvious Joscelyn was a natural. She mastered a back handspring at just three and a half years old and was already landing back tucks by age five! She started competing officially when she turned seven, and her career completely took off from there.

Taking It to the Next Level: World Champions Centre

Looking to reach the elite level, Joscelyn made a major move to World Champions Centre in Spring, Texas. Training at WCC gave her the opportunity to work alongside elite powerhouses and legends like Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Tiana Sumanasekera, and Dulcy Caylor.

Her time at WCC brought huge breakthroughs on the world stage:

• U.S. National Vault Title: Solidifying herself as one of the best vault powerhouses in the country.

• 2023 World Championships (Antwerp): Earned a spot on Team USA and helped bring home the team gold medal

• 2024 Paris Olympics: Named a traveling alternate for the U.S. Olympic Team after a fantastic performance at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

  
  

Dominating College & Elite Simultaneously

For her collegiate career, Joscelyn brought her massive skills to the University of Arkansas. Competing for the Razorbacks, she made an immediate impact, racking up All-American honors and breaking program records right out of the gate.

But she wasn't done with elite competition just yet. Balancing both worlds, she returned to the elite stage after her freshman year and earned an individual Bronze Medal on Vault at the 2025 World Championships.

The Next Chapter: University of Georgia

Joscelyn recently announced her transfer to the University of Georgia to continue her collegiate career with the Bulldogs. Given her work ethic, incredible power, and track record of success everywhere she goes, the future is bright and I can’t wait to see all the great gymnastics she continues to do!
