This morning Joscelyn Roberson, a transfer from the University of Arkansas, a standout and a very accomplished gymnast announced that she will be continuing her gymnastics career at the University of Georgia under the coaching staff of her former coaching Laurent and Cecile Landi.
This reunion is a massive deal! Before her stellar, All-American run with the Arkansas Gymbacks, Joscelyn trained under Laurent and Cecile Landi at the World Champions Centre in Texas. They coached her all the way to becoming a U.S. National Team member and a traveling alternate for the 2024 Paris Olympic team.
Georgia's coaching staff has completely leveled up recently with Cecile Canqueteau-Landi as head coach and Laurent Landi as Associate Head Coach. Reuniting Joscelyn with the coaches who know her elite skill set inside and out is going to be electric. Between her massive difficulty (like competing the rare Mustafina vault in NCAA) and her automatic 9.9+ scoring potential on beam and floor, she is going to be an immediate anchor for Georgia.
Congratulations on Georgia! cant wait to see what you will accomplish at georgia and I cant wait for college gymnastics season to start up again. Go Dawgs!
