How old were you when you started gymnastics, and what originally drew you to the sport?
I started doing classes at two years old and have been in love with it ever since.
What was your favorite meet, your favorite and least favorite events, and the hardest/easiest skill you ever trained?
My favorite meet ever was Heartland classic during the 2026 season, my favorite event is beam and if I have to choose my least favorite is vault. And the hardest skill I’ve trained is the direct connection of my Jaeger to a shoot over on bars.
Gymnastics is incredibly mental. What was your hardest struggle during your time as a gymnast? How did you deal with nerves, pressure, and getting in your head or temporarily "losing" a skill?
My greatest struggle was loosing coaches that I created a very strong bond with and learning to accept the changes and form new relationships. I deal with my nerves or pressure by remembering how far I’ve come and telling myself that I know how to do these skills and take a deal breath and trust myself.
What was your biggest accomplishment in the sport, and did you ever want to do college gymnastics?
My biggest accomplishment is making it to dp nationals my first year level 10. Yes, I have always wanted to do college gymnastics.
How did you cope when your time as a gymnast ended, and did you transition into coaching or are you currently still competing?
I’m am currently competing, I’m going into my second year level 10.
Who was your gymnastics role model, and what advice would you give to someone starting the sport for the first time?
My biggest role model in gymnastics was one of my older teammates named Hannah Hughes, she always worked hard, never gave up, and always had a positive attitude. She is currently going into her sophomore year at UW Oshkosh.
What two goals you want to achieve in the sport of gymnastics?
I want to compete at a Division one college and show others how to love the sport of gymnastics as much as I do.
