How old were you when you started gymnastics, and what originally drew you to the sport?
I started at the age of 4 and what drew me to gymnastics was the idea of getting new skills
What was your favorite meet, your favorite and least favorite events, and the hardest/easiest skill you ever trained?
my favorite meet was probably regionals of 2025 because I got my second perfect 10 and my last nationals because of my vault, competing a 1 1/2 yurchenko for the first time and sticking it! It meant a lot!
Gymnastics is incredibly mental. What was your hardest struggle during your time as a gymnast? How did you deal with nerves, pressure, and getting in your head or temporarily "losing" a skill?
my hardest struggle was comparison and getting in my head. I learned to trust my training and most importantly trust God! Remembering in times of pressure that I have an audience of one, that I’m not perfect and all I can do is my best! Getting in your head and losing a skill sucks, knowing going back to the basics is the best thing you can do!
What was your biggest accomplishment in the sport, and did you ever want to do college gymnastics?
Biggest accomplishment was earning two perfect 10s and being a 5 star athlete. I definitely did want to go to college for gymnastics!
How did you cope when your time as a gymnast ended, and did you transition into coaching or are you currently still competing?
Going into college I’m training hard and loving it! Can’t wait to compete with this team and for this university!
Who was your gymnastics role model, and what advice would you give to someone starting the sport for the first time?
I would say Maggie Nichols was my gymnastics role model. advice I would give would be “have fun, don’t let pressure, the thought of others and even at times yourself tear you down! In all honesty this sport is one of the hardest sports out there, so do it with all your heart and trust God and the process!”
What two goals you want to achieve in the sport of gymnastics?
Now for college, become natty champ with the team and become an All American!
